White-Label Branding
PurpletGo lets you replace every visible reference to "PurpletGo" with your own company identity. Departing employees, managers, and HR teams will see your logo, your company name, and receive emails from your domain - making the offboarding experience feel like a native part of your internal tooling.
Branding settings are available at Settings → Branding and apply organisation-wide. Sub-organisations can each carry their own branding profile independently; see Org Hierarchy for details.
Logo and Company Name
Upload your company logo as a PNG or JPG, up to 2 MB (recommended around 200 × 60 px). SVG isn't accepted - SVGs can carry embedded scripts, so PurpletGo blocks them as an upload-security precaution. The logo appears in:
- The navigation sidebar of the main app
- Outbound emails sent by PurpletGo on your behalf
- The Self-Service Portal seen by departing employees
Set the Company Name to control how your organisation is labelled in the interface and in the greeting line of automated emails.
Uploading a new logo replaces the old one immediately, and PurpletGo can suggest brand colors by extracting the dominant colors from your logo image - handy for filling in Primary and Accent below without picking hex values by hand.
Custom Email Sender
By default, PurpletGo sends notifications from a shared @mail.purpletgo.com address. Configuring a custom sender means your employees receive offboarding emails from an address like hr@yourdomain.com.
Two fields control the sender identity:

SPF Verification
Add an SPF TXT record
After entering your From Address, add a TXT record to the DNS for that domain: v=spf1 include:purpletgo.com ~all. The Branding page shows you the exact record to add.
Wait for propagation
DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to propagate, though it's usually much faster.
Verify in PurpletGo
Click Verify SPF Record. PurpletGo does a live DNS TXT lookup for your domain and checks for a valid v=spf1 record. The badge next to your sender address flips from Unverified to Verified.
Changing the From Address resets its verification status, since the SPF check is tied to the specific sending domain.
Legal Footer
The legal footer appears at the bottom of every outbound email PurpletGo sends on your behalf. It's plain text - up to 500 characters, HTML-escaped when it's rendered into the email so nothing in it can break the layout or inject markup. Use it for things like your registered company address or a required legal disclosure.
Privacy Policy URL
Enter your organisation's privacy policy URL (must be a valid https:// link). When set, it's added to the footer of every outbound email as a "Privacy Policy" link, alongside your legal footer text.
Custom Portal Domain
You can serve the Self-Service Portal from your own domain instead of purpletgo.com - for example offboarding.acme.com. Add a CNAME record pointing your chosen domain at app.purpletgo.com, then click Verify CNAME on the Branding page. PurpletGo does a live DNS lookup and marks the domain verified once the CNAME resolves correctly. Once verified, portal links sent to departing employees use this domain instead of the default one.
Applying Branding Changes
Changes take effect immediately for new sessions and outbound emails triggered after saving. Already-open browser sessions may need a hard refresh to see the updated logo and company name. Previously sent emails are not retroactively altered.
